Syabrubensi Trek 8 Days
Once you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representatives will pick you up and take you to your hotel, Hotel Yatri Suites and Spa where you will be spending the night
The next morning after breakfast we will start our trip to Syabru Besi. The drive takes about 8 hours and gives you a scenic view of the river valleys of Trishuli and snow capped mountains of the Ganesh Himal. Syabru Besi is a small village located within the outskirts of the Langtang National Park and is dubbed as the gateway to the Langtang Valley. Here, you can hear the roars of Bhote Khosi river and there are no signs of pollution or crowds. It is absolutely serene.
After our breakfast, we will begin our trek to Tatopani which will take about 7 hours. Tatopani translates to 'hot water' in Nepali and this village got its name from the natural hot springs that emanate from the rocks beside the Kali Gandaki River. This place is popular among locals who seek comfort from pain as the boiling water is said to have medicinal and healing powers. It is a good place to stop by for people who are suffering from rheumatism and muscle and stiffness and rehabilitation.
Leaving Tatopani, we will start our climb to Nagthali through a deep damp forest of old rhododendron trees. This will lead us to a small Tamang village of Brimdang. From Brimdang, we will further ascend to Nagthali viewpoint which is at a height of 3165m. In clear weather, you will be able to catch the breathtaking views Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal and Sanjen ranges. This village was once a popular meditation centre from the local monks and priests.
Our destination for today is Lingling. Frm Nagthali, we will trek along and pass through the Thuman village. From there we will head onto Timure where we can take small tea breaks at the tea houses. We will then continue further up to Rasuwagadi and pass through to Brimdim to finally reach Lingling.
The next day we will begin our journey back home by trekking back to where we started, Syabru Besi. It’s all downhill descent to Syabru Besi. At the end of the trek, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to celebrate the completion of the trek with some drinks and meals.
After breakfast, we begin our 8 hours drive back to Kathmandu. If you missed out on some of scenic views at the start of the journey, the return trip is the perfect chance.
This will be your last day in Nepal. Since the flight is at night, you have a whole day to yourself to go visit some last minute tourist spots in Kathmandu of buy some souvenirs. In the evening we will drop you off at the international airport and hope to see you soon.
We team up with the best to give you an unmatchable experience
